Date Column

This column displays the date and time the message was composed, or, for timed messages, the date and time the message is scheduled to be sent. Date formats, including age-sensitive indications such as the day of the week or “Today,” are set in the Date Display options window. See “Date Display” on page 218. Size Column

This column displays the size of the message in kilobytes, K (1 K = 1,024 bytes).

Server Status Column

This column displays the action that is done to the corresponding incoming message on the server. The next time you check mail, the server status you requested is automatically completed.

Fetched Don’t change the message on the server. A solid diamond indicates that the message has been

Fetched (IMAP only) Retrieve messages from the IMAP

but not server, but not all attachments have been attachments fetched.

Subject Column

This column displays the subject of the message. The sender originally typed this informa- tion into the message header, but you can modify it. See “Editing Incoming Messages” on page 55. Click the page number to display the topic.
