Cutting off the picture and sound temporarily

Remote

(Mute)

control

When you want to project the images of another projector, overhead projector, etc. temporarily, this projector’s images and sound can be turned off.

Press the remote control’s MUTE button or the RETURN/ MUTE button on the projector control panel.

The picture and sound are cut off. (Pressing the MUTE button or the RETURN/MUTE button again cancels the Mute function and restores the picture and sound.)

The RETURN/MUTE button on the control panel cannot be used for muting in the following situations:

The projected image is resized.

A menu is displayed.

Notes

The icon will appear while mute is in effect.

Operating any other functions will also cancel the muting.

Changing picture mode

The projected image mode can be selected.

Press the remote control’s PICTURE button.

Pressing the button switches 1/2/3 in turn. 1: Bright

2: Standard

3: True color

Note

[Picture mode] of the Image adjustment menu has the same function p.35 .

The screen size for the projected image can be changed.

Press the remote control’s SCREEN SIZE button.

Pressing the button switches in turn as follows:

X3131/X3241 : Normal/Full/Thru/Wide

WX3131 : Normal/Full/Thru/4:3 zoom

Notes

Thru display is available for Computer-input images.

Wide or 4:3 zoom display is available for Y/PB/PR, Video and S-video-input images.

[Screen size] of the Display setting menu has the same function p.37 p.38 .
