Notes about writing User Programs

Leaving the User Program environment

Press [USER PROGRAM] to leave the User Program envi- ronment. The User Program field in the display will go blank again.

Mode selection

The mode (Arranger, p. 20; Organ, p. 24; M.Drums, p. 30, Piano, p. 25) is also memorized when you write a User Program. You could take advantage of this facility to alternate between Arranger (song proper) and Organ (ad lib introduction or ending without Arranger backing) modes with suitable settings for both.

Meaning of the dashes below the User Program number

At some stage, you may come across four dashes below the User Program number (see the example).

Quitter l’environnement User Program

Appuyez sur [USER PROGRAM] pour quitter l’environne- ment User Program. La zone User Program de l’écran redevient vide.

Sélection de mode

Le réglage de mode (Arranger, p. 20; Organ, p. 24; M.Drums, p. 30, Piano, p. 25) est également mémorisé dans le programme utilisateur. Vous pourriez en profiter pour alterner entre les modes Arranger (morceau propre- ment dit) et Organ (introduction ou finale improvisée sans accompagnement Arranger) en gardant des réglages adéquats pour les deux modes.

Signification des tirets sous le numéro de pro- gramme utilisateur

Vous verrez parfois quatre tirets sous le numéro du pro- gramme utilisateur (voyez l’exemple).

They mean that the last User Program you selected is still in effect but that the current settings no longer corre- spond to the ones in that memory. Such changes may include the status of the Reverb or Chorus effect, a changed volume value, etc.

Before selecting another User Program or switching off the EM-15 OR, you should therefore write these settings to the same (or a different) User Program if you want to keep them. Otherwise, you lose these changes. Please also see p. 66.

Ils indiquent que le dernier programme utilisateur sélectionné est toujours en vigueur mais que les réglages actuels ne correspondent plus à ceux contenus dans cette mémoire. De tels changements peuvent concerner l’état des effets Reverb et Chorus, une valeur Balance modifiée, etc.

Avant de sélectionner un autre programme utilisateur ou de couper l’alimentation de l’EM-15 OR, sauvegardez ces réglages dans le programme utilisateur (ou dans un autre) si vous voulez les conserver. Voyez aussi p. 66.
