•To determine the amount of
•Make sure that the entire wire path between keypads and CAV6.6 is clear and not obstructed by a floor ceiling joist, or masonry wall which can’t be drilled through.

WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
•Confirm ahead of time that you can drill an outlet hole easily and in an unobtrusive spot to connect wires with the CAV6.6.
•Label wires with keypad and room location. This simplifies CAV6.6
•If you plan to use an additional IR receiver with an UNO keypad, first determine the loca- tion of the IR receiver, then measure the dis- tance from the intended location to the UNO keypad location. Incorporating optional IR receivers will require additional wire. Consult the selected IR receiver model’s manual for the specific wire needs.

•When running wire, pay particular attention to the following areas:
•Avoid locations concealing pipes, heating ducts and AC wiring in the general vicinity.
•Avoid running wires close to house electri- cal wiring for any distance. If you have to run them parallel, make sure to space the wires at least two feet from the AC line.
