Se o disco utilizado se encontrar codificado com um sistema de protecção, os marcadores não podem ser definidos ou eliminados. Apenas a reprodução se encontra disponível.

Eliminar um marcador

■Quando apaga um marcador durante a reprodução de um DVD-RW (modo VR), os números dos marcadores alteram-se.

Por exemplo, se o 7º marcador for eliminado após o registo de dez marcadores, os números dos marcadores após o oitavo são automaticamente actualizados e o 8º marcador passa a ser o 7º.
