Select Macro or Auto Macro to take close-up photos of subjects, such as flowers or insects.

• Try to hold the camera very still to prevent blurry photos.

• Turn the flash off if the distance to the subject is less than 40cm.

Using auto focus 2 1 8 7 3

To take sharp photos, select the appropriate focus according to your distance from the subject.

1	In Shooting mode, touch	.
2	Select a focus distance option.

Option	Description
Normal	Focus on a subject farther than 80cm.
(AF)
Macro	Focus on a subject between 5 to 80cm
	(between 50 and 80cm while using zoom).
Auto	Focus on a subject farther than 5 cm
Macro	(farther than 50 cm while using zoom).

The options may differ depending on the shooting mode.
