•On charging the built-in rechargeable battery

The built-in rechargeable battery is automatically charged while the camcorder is turned on.

Use your camcorder after charging the built-in rechargeable battery. If the built-in rechargeable battery is not charged, settings will not be backed up and the date/time appears on the screen as "01/01/ 2008 12:00 AM" (when "Date/Time" display is set to "On").

•After setting, the date and time are automatically recorded on a special data area of the storage media.

Setting the clock to the local time zone while traveling

•While traveling, you can easily set the clock to the local time by selecting the time zone on the camcorder. Select "Time Zone" on the menu, then set "Visit". ➥page 78
