Expiration: You can select the length of time your messages are stored in the message centre after they are sent.

Delivery Time: You can select the time delay before messages are sent.

Message Size: You can select the maximum message size.

Hide address: You can set your caller ID to be hidden from outgoing messages.

Request delivery report: When this option is activated, the network informs you whether or not your message has been delivered.

Request read report: When this option is activated, your phone sends a request for a read reply along with your message to the recipient.

Keep a copy: When this option is activated, your phone saves the sent message.

Receiving tab: allows you to change the settings for receiving MMS messages.

Home network: Sets how to retrieve new messages from the server while in your home network.

Roaming: Sets how to retrieve new messages from the server while roaming around another network.

Send delivery report: Sets the network to inform the sender when a message is delivered to you.

Send read report: Determines whether or not the phone sends a read-reply when an incoming message has been read.

Profile tab: allows you to set up and activate MMS profiles which are sets of MMS parameters required to send or receive MMS messages. To activate a profile, select it from the profile list.

To edit a profile, tap the profile you want to edit from the MMS Profile list. You can change the following options:

MMS Profile: Enters the profile name.

MMSC: Enters the URL address of the MMS centre.

Data Connections: Check your network connection settings.

Gateway: Select a protocol to be used for connecting to the MMS centre.
