To open Pocket MSN:

From the Start menu, tap Programs → Pocket MSN.

Signing in

To use the MSN Messenger or Hotmail service, you must have a Microsoft Passport™‚account or Hotmail account, or a Microsoft Exchange e-mail account. If you have a Hotmail or MSN account, you already have a Passport. Once you have obtained either a Microsoft Passport or a Microsoft Exchange account, you are ready to set up your account.

Note: Sign up for a Microsoft Passport account at http://www.passport.com. Get a free Microsoft Hotmail e-mail address at http://www.hotmail.com.

To sign into the MSN service:

1.On the Pocket MSN main screen, select MSN Messenger, MSN Hotmail, or Compose Hotmail.

2.If you selected MSN Messenger, tap Sign In.

3.Enter the e-mail address and the password of your Microsoft Passport and Hotmail account.

4.Tap Sign In.

Using MSN Messenger

MSN® Messenger on your phone is an instant messaging program that lets you:

•see who is online.

•send and receive e-mail messages.

•have instant message conversations with groups of contacts.
