7 Organiser

This chapter explains how to use Personal Information Management (PIM) programs to keep track of contacts and appointments, and make a list of tasks you need to do.

Contacts

Contacts maintains a list of your friends and colleagues so that you can easily find the information you’re looking for, whether you’re at home or on the road.

To open Contacts:

Tap Contacts from the Today screen. You can also tap the Start menu → Contacts.

Creating a contact

You can create a new contact in Contacts and on the SIM card.

Creating a contact in Contacts

1.On the contact list, tap New.

2.Enter a name and other contact information. You will need to scroll down to see all available fields.

3.To assign a specific caller ID image to the contact, tap the Picture field and select a picture.

4.To assign the contact to a category, scroll to and tap the Categories field and then select a category from the list and tap

. You can also add a new category by tapping New.

You can display contacts on the list by category.

5.To add notes, tap the Notes tab and make a note.

6. When you have finished, tap	to save
the contact.
