Yourphone features built-in Bluetooth®®technology, allowing
you to share information more easily than everbefore.
Bluetooth is a short-range communications technology
that allows you to connect wirelessly to a numberof
Bluetooth devices, such as headsets and hands-free car
kits, and Bluetooth-enabled handhelds, computers, and
wireless phones. The Bluetooth communication range is
usually up to approximately 30 feet.

Turning Bluetooth On and Off

By default, yourphone’s Bluetooth feature is turned off.
Turning Bluetooth on makes yourphone “available”to
otherin-range Bluetooth devices. To make yourphone
visible to otherdevices, you must also ensure that your
phone’s visibility is not set to Hidden. (See page 102.)
1. Press >Settings > Bluetooth > On/Off.
2. Select Onto enable Bluetooth. Select Offto disable
Bluetooth.
Note Enabling the Bluetooth settings affects the battery’s
talkand standby times.
