Emergencymode options

If you end the emergency call by pressing , your

phone enters the emergency mode.

1. Press to end a 911 call.

2. Press Options(right softkey).

nCall 911to call 911.

nCall 911:Spkr.to call 911 in speakerphone mode.

nExit Emergencyto exit Emergency mode.

3. Select an option and press .

Enhanced 911 (E911)Information

This phone features an embedded Global Positioning

System (GPS)chip necessary forutilizing E911

emergency location services where available.

When you place an emergency 911 call, the GPS feature

of yourphone seeks information to calculate your

approximate location. Depending on several variables,

including availability and access to satellite signals, it

may take up to 30 seconds ormore to determine and

report yourapproximate location.

IMPORTANT Always report yourlocation to the 911

operatorwhen placing an emergency

call.Some designated emergency call

takers,known as Public Safety Answering

Points (PSAPs)may not be equipped to

receive GPS location information from

yourphone.

Note When you are in Emergency mode, you can exit

only from the Options menu.

Tip Press MyPhone(left softkey) to display your phone

numberduring an emergency call.
