Getting Started With SprintVision

With yourSprint service, you are ready to start enjoying

the advantages of SprintVision. This section will help

you learn the basics of using yourSprintVision services,

including managing yourusername, launching a Vision

connection, and navigating the Web with yourphone.

YourUser Name

When you buy yourphone and sign up forservice, you’re

automatically assigned a username, which is typically

based on yourname and a number, followed by

“@sprint.com.”(Forexample, the third John Smith to sign

up forSprintVision services might have

jsmith003@sprint.comas his user name.)

When you use SprintVision services, youruser name is

submitted to identify you to the Sprint National Network.

The username is also useful as an address forSprint

Mail, as a way to personalize Web services, and as an

online virtual identity.

Yourusername will be automatically programmed into

yourphone. You don’t have to enterit.

Finding YourUserName

If you aren’t sure what yourusername is, you can easily

find it online oron yourphone.

vAtwww.sprint.com. Sign on to youraccount using your

phone numberand password. To display youruser

name, click My Sprint> Settings & Passwords, and then

click “Wireless Web username”in the left column.

vOn yourphone. You can find yourusername under the

Phone Infooption in yourphone’s Settings menu

(Press >Settings > Phone Info > Phone#/UserID).

Updating YourUserName

If you choose to change yourusername and select a

new one online, you must then update the username on

yourphone.

©Press >Settings> More... >Data > Update Profile.

(To cancel, press before completing the update

process.)
