Selecting a KeyTone
Yourphone offers a numberof options for selecting the
audible tones accompanying a keypress.
1. Press >Settings > Sounds > Keytones.
2. Select an option and press .
nTone Lengthto select a key tone length. (Longer
tone lengths maybe betterfortone recognition
when dialing voicemail orotherautomated
systems.)
nTone Volumeto select a keypress volume level.
nTone Typeto select the sound of a keypress.
Setting Up Voice Guide
Voice Guide activates both voice prompt and keypress
echo functions. This feature allows you to hearvoice
prompts when using Automatic Speech Recognition
(ASR),Voice Memo, Screen Call, etc., and to hearspoken
numbers as you press the keypad.
1. Press >Settings > Sounds> Voice Guide.
2. Select OnorOff.
Adjusting the Phone’s Volume Settings
Adjust yourphone’s volume settings to suit yourneeds
and yourenvironment.
1. Press >Settings > Sounds > Volume.
2. Select Ringer,Earpiece,Headset,Speakerphone,
Applications,orStartUp/PowerOff.
3. Select a volume level and press Done(leftsoftkey).
Tip You can choose a volume level from standby mode
(orthe earpiece volume during a call) by using the
volume key on the left side ofyour phone.
When setting ringervolume, you can check
Always Vibrateand yourphone will vibrate
regardless ofthe volume setting.
Note The default setting is Off.
When the ringervolume is set to Silence Allor
Vibrate All,Voice Guide will notwork.
The keypress echo function is available when you
are in standby mode.
