Yourphone is equipped with a Lithium Ion (Li-Ion)
battery. It allows you to recharge yourbattery before it is
fully drained. The battery provides up to 4.8 hours of
continuous digital talk time.
When there are approximately two minutes of talk time
left, the phone sounds an audible alert and then
turns off.
Installing the Battery
1. Insert the battery into the opening in the back of the
phone, making surethe connectors align (1).Gently
press down to securethe battery (2).
2. Replace the battery coverand slide it upward until
you heara click (3).
Removing the Battery
1. Make sure the poweris off so that you don’t lose any
stored numbers ormessages.
2. Press the battery release latch (1)and slide the
battery coverdownward and remove it (2).
3. Lift up the battery and remove it from the phone (3).

WARNING Do not handle a damaged orleaking Li-Ion
battery as you can be burned.

Tip Watch yourphone’s battery level indicatorand
charge the battery before it runs out ofpower.
Note Long backlight settings, searching forservice,
vibrate mode, browseruse, and othervariables may
reduce the battery’s talkand standby times.
