Accessing Messaging

You can send and receive email messages, instant

messages, and text messages and participate in Web-

based chatrooms right from yourphone. Messaging

allows you to stay connected 24 hours a day anywhere

on the Sprint National Network.

Message Types

There are many types of text messaging available on

yourphone. These include SMS Text Messaging, Sprint

Instant Messaging, Email, and Chat.

(SprintVoicemail provides voicemail-to-mailbox

messaging. Forinformation on using yourphone’s

voicemail feature, see “Using Voicemail”on page 108.)

Using SprintMail

Sprint Mail allows you to perform many of the typical

email functions from yourphone that you can from your

personal computer. You can manage yourSprint Mail

account from yourphone orfrom yourpersonal

computerat www.sprint.com.

To access Sprint Mail from yourphone:

1. Press > Messaging > IM & Email > SprintMail.

(The browserwill start and go to the Sprint Mail

page.)

2. If you’re a first-time user, yourphone will prompt you

to set up yourSprint Mail account by establishing a

username and password.

3. Select the folderyou wish to view, such as Inboxor

Compose.

Sending Sprint Mail

1. From the SprintMail display (see above), select

Compose(or Reply or Reply All if you’re viewing a

message).

2. Entera recipient orrecipients for youremail:

Select Toand press to display yourSprint Mail

address book. To add a recipient, select it and

press .

–or –

Select the addressee box (underoradjacent to To)

and enteran email address.

3. Repeat as necessary forCCs and BCCs.
