Remote control setting

Remote control of the VCR is possible by connecting a remote controller with a circuit such as indicated below, to theREMOTE jack.

NOTES:

The remote control switch 7 (see illustration at left) can be set to either eject the tape or access the menus.

1PressMENUthebutton to display the MAIN MENU.

2Pressl the(orj) button to“3.GENERALselect the

SET” line, then press the ENTER button.

œ Use a 3.5 mm mini-jack type plug.

ø The (GENERAL SET) menu appears.

œ The connection should be done using a shielded cable no more than 5 meters long.
