Setting up the Prin ter
If the printer is n ot recogonized usi ng the install ation wizard, you will need to set u p your
printer manually. To do s o, follow these ste ps:
Prepare the roll of la bels
1 Open the Smart Lab el printer soft ware
2 Unde r the Label pull -down menu, sel ect Printer Set-up
3 Sele ct Add a printer
4 Sele ct how your printer i s connected and c lick Done.
Loading a Roll of Lab els
Prepare the roll of la bels
1 Remove t he sticker from t he beginning of the roll of labe ls.
Note: Make sure the re is a black se nsor mark on th e label backin g as shown on pa ge 3.
2 If ne eded, cut betwee n the labels to c reate a “leader.”
If the end of the rol l is not prepared as shown above, cut between the lab els leaving a s
much backing as p ossible on t he end of the roll to act as a leade r.
Load the roll of lab els
1 Make s ure the power cord i s connected and
the printer is tur ned on. The green status light
should be flas hing.
2 Lif t the base of th e label
cover and rotate it open.
