Testing the Printer
A quick test lets you know your printer i s operating prop erly and that t he labels
are loaded correctly.
Testing the SLP 410, 42 0 or 430
1 Press and hold the power but ton for 2 second s to turn the pr inter off.
2 Press and hold the form fee d button while you press and rele ase the button.
If the test is succ essful, the S LP 410/420/430 wi ll print a test l abel.
Testing the SLP 4 40 or 450
1 Press and hold the power but ton for 2 second s to turn the pr inter off.
2 Press and hold the form feed button until t he LED begins to flash green.
Do not release.
3 To print the SII graph ic logo:
• While holding the b utton, press th e power button 1x and relea se both button s.
4 To print the SII samp le address lab el:
• While holding the b utton, press th e power button 2x and release both but tons.
5 To print the density test:
• While holding the b utton, press th e power button 3x and re lease both but tons.
6 To print the serial num ber and firmware :
• While holding the b utton, press th e power button 4x and re lease both but tons.
