Warning

1 Use o nly the AC adapter provided with thi s printer, or an AC a dapter that has b een
approved by Seiko Inst ruments for use with this pri nter. Use of an incor rect AC adapter
may cause risk of overheating or fi re.
2 Do not bend or place a heavy object on the power cord as it could damage the cord
and result in ris k of electric sh ock or fire. Do not u se the power cord if damaged or
frayed.
3 The thermal print he ad may become qu ite hot after pri nting. Be careful when changing
labels and clea ning the therma l head.

Caution

1 Never i nsert objects of any kind into th is printer as t hey may touch dang erous voltage
points or short out parts, a nd may result in a risk of fire or electric shock. Never spill liq uid
of any kind on the p rinter.
2 This printer contains no user-servi ceable parts . Do not attempt to service the p rinter
yourself as this can expose you to da ngerous voltage p oints or other ri sks. Repair s ervice
should be perfor med by a trained te chnician.
3 Do not use this printe r near water or in extreme humidi ty.
4 Be sure to hold only t he connector end of the power cord or i nterface cable w hen
disconnecting. Re peated pulling on the cable cou ld damage the cable.
