PRINTER FUNCTIONS

ENLARGING/REDUCING THE PRINTED IMAGE (Zoom)

This function is used to enlarge or reduce the image to a selected percentage. This allows you to enlarge a small image or add margins to the paper by slightly reducing an image.

Note The "Scaling" is not available when "N-Up Printing" is selected.

1 Click the "Paper" tab in the printer driver setup screen.

2 Check the "User Define Scale" box.
3 Select the zoom ratio.

You can change the ratio by directly entering a number,

dragging the slider or using the ( , ) button at an increment of 1% (Zooming ratio: 25% to 400%).

You can also set the center point of the paper by checking "Center" box.

ADJUSTING THE IMAGE EXPOSURE (image adjustment)

The exposure can be adjusted in the print settings when printing a photo or other image. These settings can be used for simple corrections when you do not have image editing software installed in your computer.

1 Click the "Advanced" tab in the printer driver setup screen.
2 Press the button to adjust the printing exposure.

You can also check the "Invert" box to print a negative image. This function can be used to reduce the toner consumption when printing documents with large areas of black (which use large quantities of toner).
