Making internal calls
– Calling an individual subscriber
If you make a call to a handset from the base station tele- phone (or vice versa) then this call is
Lift the handset.
Enter the internal call number.
The display lists all internal subscribers.
Select the subscriber you want.
– Collective call to all internal subscribers
Use this function when registering more than one hand- set. All registered handsets ring when a collective call is re- ceived.
The display lists all internal subscribers.
Select and confirm.
Picking up a call from the answering machine – >©
There are two setting options.
Immediate pickup
With immediate pickup (factory setting), you interrupt the answering machine recording by lifting the handset.
A message appears on the base station telephone display.
Example: BUS5bYSQC]YdX.'1'bTY^WV',$/
Pick up the call.
The answering machine stops recording.
The message recorded up to this point will be stored as a “New Message”.

Indirect pickup
With indirect pickup after inquiry (for settings see page
70) you can decide whether to pick up the call or to call someone else. This should be activated if you do not wish to inadvertendly answer incoming calls to the answering machine.
