Changing from one announcement to another (daily)

You want to have the answering machine switched on with message recording from 13.00 to 18.00 and with the advi- sory text from 18.00 to 13.00. Proceed as described in the previous example:

For Time Frame 1, select the announcement with message recording and the start time of 13.00.

For Time Frame 2, select the advisory text and the start time of 18.00. Activate both time frames. Start time con- trol.

Checking the settings

The factory settings of your answering machine are de- signed for optimum performance. In some cases it may be useful to call up the AM menu and change the settings.

You can obtain an overview of all settings on the answering machine. In addition you will see the number of messages and memos, the amount of memory available and the an- nouncement type.

Call up the AM menu.

Select and confirm.

Select the required setting.

Go back to the status directory.

Display the next setting.

Setting the recording quality

With standard recording quality, the amount of memory available is approx. 30 minutes, with higher recording qual- ity this is reduced to approx. 10 minutes.

Call up the AM menu.

Select and confirm.

Enter and confirm the system PIN (factory setting is 0000).
