Activating/deactivating call waiting
You can permanently deactivate the “call waiting” function for each individual internal subscriber.
Call the menu.
Select and confirm.
Select and confirm the required internal subscriber.
The display is highlighted if the function is active.
To switch the setting:
Activate/deactivate call waiting.
Reminder function
You can enter a reminder in your phone, so that you will hear a beep and see a message on the display at the ap- propriate time. You can receive the reminder on any partic- ular day over the next 12 months.
Prerequisite for all reminder settings: date and time are set correctly, see also page 65.

Call the menu
The display shows any reminders already set.
Open the supplementary menu.
Select and confirm.
Enter the date and time of the required reminder; the dis- played entries will be overwritten. A reminder consists of a time in “–

Confirm the reminder. The reminder is activated simulta- neously.
Reminder signal
The base station telephone reminds you by emitting a beep and displaying a message. If you are currently mak- ing a call, the reminder only occurs after the call is finished. The message remains on the display until you react to the reminder by:
switching it off.

Select and confirm.
Open the supplementary menu.
Select and confirm.
Call deflection during the ring phase
You can divert an incoming external call to any call number while it is ringing (Call Deflection), without answering the call. Because the caller has no influence over the final des- tination of his call, the relevant charges are borne by you. The caller is only charged for the normal telephone costs to reach your connection.
Setting up a destination call number
An established destination call number makes call deflec- tion easier when a call is received.
Call the menu.
Select and confirm.
If a destination call number already exists, then the display is highlighted.
Enter the required destination call number.
Open the supplementary menu.
Save the destination call number.
The “Forward. Dest.” menu item is highlighted.
