Options available during a call

Muting the microphone

You can switch off your microphone, for example to enable

you to talk to someone else in the room. The called party

will no longer be able to hear you, although you can hear

him.

Confirm while making a call.

To switch on the microphone, or press any key.

Setting the handset volume/speaker volume

# (or ) Lift the handset or press .

or The display indicates the current setting.

or Set the required volume.

This volume remains set for the duration of the call.

Save the volume for all subsequent calls.

Adding the number of the called party to the

telephone directory

During a call you can add the call number of the person to

whom you are talking to the base station telephone direc-

tory.

The call number is displayed.

Call the menu.

Select and confirm.

An input field containing the current call number opens up.

Open the supplementary menu to end input.

Save your entries.

Example:

A name can be added to the call

number (see page 171).

Recording calls

You can make a recording of an on-going phone call. We

recommend that you inform the called party before you be-

gin recording .

Start recording.

End: Press the key a second time.

Playing back messages during a call

To play messages you have recorded back to the called

party.

The display shows the list of recordings.

or Select the required recording .

Start play back.

The answering machine switches to pause mode when

the recording has been played.

Pause recordings, press Stop twice to end.
