Registering and de-registering handsets
You can register up to six handsets on your base station.
An SL 1 handset can be registered on up to four base stations.
Manual registration: Gigaset SL 1 to Gigaset SL 100
You have to initiate handset registration on the handset and on the base station.
1. On the handset

Base 1 flashes in the display when the system PIN has been entered.

| for 3 seconds. Registration is initiated. |

The base station search is cancelled after 60 seconds. If registration has not completed inside this time, repeat the process.
After successful registration, the handset will be assigned the lowest free number.
Manual registration:
Gigaset 1000 to 4000 and other handsets with GAP functionality
This section describes how to connect handsets belonging to the Gigaset families, handsets A 2, C 1, S 1 or handsets of other devices with GAP functionality to your SL 100.
1. On the handset
Start to register the handset as described in its operating instructions.
2. On the base station
