Resetting Factory Defaults

Before initializing the

LocationFreeTV

Check that the base station is turned on. Bring the monitor close to the base station.

Be sure to initialize the LocationFreeTV with the AC power adapter attached and the battery inserted.

The monitor restarts during the initialization process. This is not a malfunction.

Initializing the Base Station

To reset all settings, or just the connection settings, you need to initialize the base station.

1 Turn off the base station.

2 While pressing CLR CFG on the rear of the base station, turn on the POWER.

Hold down CLR CFG until the NetAV indicator on the front of the base station lights red.

Resetting All Settings

You can reset all settings to the factory defaults. Note, however, that all saved data will be lost.

Notes

Initialization deletes all of your data, including mail you have received, images stored in the album, as well as web pages and favorites you have saved.

Be sure to follow the instructions for “Initializing the Base Station” before performing the following procedure.

1 Open the [Settings] window and select [Basic].

The [Basic] window appears.

Select [Initialize].

4 Carefully read the precautions shown on the screen, initialize the base station

After the monitor automatically restarts during

initialization, verify that
