To remove a memory module

Shut down your computer and disconnect all peripheral devices. Unplug your computer and remove the battery packs.

Turn your computer upside down and open the cover on the bottom.

Touch a metal object (such as the connector panel on the back of your computer) to discharge static electricity.

Remove the memory module.

1Pull the tabs in the direction of the arrows. The memory module is released.

2Pull the memory module in the direction of the arrow.

6Close the cover.
