Remove the memory module from its packaging.
Install the memory module.

1Slide the memory module into the slot.
2The connectors snap into place when the board is correctly seated.

Close the cover and tighten the screws.
Turn on the computer.
Click the My Computer icon with the right mouse button and select Properties.
The System Properties screen appears.
Click the Performance tab to view memory.
