Tips

To select a channel, you can use the number buttons and ENTER on the remote commander.

You can select a video source (e.g. a DSS receiver, etc.) connected to the LINE IN jacks by pressing VHS LINE repeatedly, until “LINE” is displayed on the TV screen.

Information about the tape appears on the TV screen, but the information won’t be recorded on the tape.

If you don’t want to watch TV while recording, you can turn off the TV. When using a cable box, be sure to leave it on.

You can enjoy watching or listening to another input source even while recording.

Note

The display does not appear during still (pause) mode or slow-motion playback.

4 Lift the top cover of the remote commander and press TAPE SPEED to select the tape speed, SP or EP.

EP provides recording time three times as long as SP, however, SP produces better picture and audio quality.
