Wireless Connection Manager Main Window

When you launch the Wireless Connection Manager application, the main window will open (see Figure 13).

Total Bytes Sent

consists of the following items:

This field indicates the length of time connected.

This field indicates the amount of data (bytes) the card has sent during the current network session.

Total Bytes Received

Connect or Disconnect Button

This field indicates the amount of data (bytes) the card has received during the current network session.

This button allows you to Connect or Disconnect from the network, depending on the current state of the card. If the card is locked when attempting to connect, you will be prompted to unlock it before connecting.

Signal Strength Status Bar

This display indicates the card’s signal strength. If adequate signal strength is present, several of the five bars will beshadedgreen.Thegreaternumberof bars filled, the stronger the signal strength.

In addition to these usage charges, you may be charged for recurring monthly service charges, applicable local and long-distance toll charges, other usage charges, connection fees, roaming charges, directory assistance, call completion charges, account review and management charges optional features you select at an extra cost, and taxes and other regulatory-related charges. Charges for most Services are incurred in one-minute increments, with partial minutes of use rounded up to the next highest minute.
