PAPERINSTALLATIONAND USE

Thischapterdescribesinstructionsforprintingsuchasselectingpapertypes,
adjustingtheprintinggap, andinstallingpaper.

SELECTIONOFPAPER

Yourprinteracceptsany of thefollowingpapem:
●Singlesheets(cut forms)andstationery
Usethe ftictionfeed or theoptionalAutomaticSheetFeeder.
●Fanfoldforms
Fanfoldforms haveholes alongthe sides and perforationsbetweenthe
sheets.They=also calledsprocketforms,punchedforms,orjust plain
“computerpaper”.
Printingon or near the perforationsof continuousfanfold forms may
reduceprintingquality,misalignthefanfoldforms,or causeapaperjam.
Itis nxommendednotto printwithinan amaof oneinch beforeandafter
theperforations.
cMulti-partforms
You canuse multi-partforms that have up to five pats includingthe
originalwhenthe Multi-partmodeis selected withthe MemorySwitch
setting.(Fordetails,please referto Chapter6.)
Usepmssumsensitivemulti-partformswithboth sideedgesglued anda
differencein thicknessof 0.05mmor less betweenthe side edges.It is
recommendedtousethe bottomfeedwith theoptionalPullTractor Unit
toget fine alignment.
NOTE: Cmeshouldbetakenincolorprintingwithcontinuousmulti-part
forms.Sideedges ofpaper mightbe damaged.
