Ifyouam usingtheoptionalAutomaticSheetFeeder,referto nextsection.

1. Placethe paper guidein positionby insertingthe tabs, locatedonthe

bottomofthe assembly,intohslotson themar coverofthe printer.

Adjustthepaperguidesto matchthesizeofthe paperyouwillbeusing.

Rememberthatprintingwillstartsomedistancefmmtheleft-handedge

ofthe carnage.

Turnonthepowerusingthe switchlocatedatthefrontoftheprinter.The

printerwillbeep,indicatingthatthemisnopaperinpositionforprinting.

ThePAPER indicatorwill alsoilluminatetoconfirmthis.

MakeSUIEthatthe releaseleveris atfront position.

If fanfold paper is already mounted _inthe printer, press the

~1 buttontoparkthepaperintheoff-linestate,thenmovethe

releaseleverforward.
