Windows XP and 2000
Locate, and double-click on the 1. Network
Connections icon, within the Windows
Control Panel.
Right-click on 2. Local Area Connection
(or Wireless network connection)
Select 3. Properties. Under the General
tab highlight Internet Protocol TCP/IP
Click on the 4. Properties button.
Click on the Radio button titled 5. Use the
following IP address
In the top text block, labeled 6. IP
Address, Enter: 192.168.0.65.
In the center block, labeled 7. Subnet
Mask, enter: 255.255.255.0
Click on 8. OK, then wait a few
moments for the computer to refresh
it’s IP Address.
Windows Vista™
Enter the Control Panel; select 1. Network and Sharing Center.
Select 2. Manage network connections.
Select 3. Local Area Connection, then right-click Properties.
Highlight 4. Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
Select 5. Properties.
Select 6. Use the following IP Address; then, in the top text block,
labeled IP Address, enter: 192.168.0.65.
In the center block, labeled 7. Subnet Mask, enter: 255.255.255.0. Leave
the Default Gateway blank.
Click on 8. OK, then wait a few moments for the computer to refresh
it’s IP Address.
