Change Settings
Use this feature to set the optimal Environment_Control_Interface (PECI) setting for a serial port specified. The default setting is Auto, which will allow the AMI BIOS to automatically select the best setting for the PECI platform.
Device Mode
Use this feature to select the desired mode for a serial port specified. The options are Normal and High Speed.
Serial Port 2 Configuration
Serial Port
Select Enabled to enable a serial port specified by the user. The options are En- abled and Disabled.
Device Settings
This item displays the settings of Serial Port 2.

Serial Port 2 Attribute
Use this feature to select the attribute for serial port 2. The options are SOL (Serial On LAN), and COM.
Serial Port Console Redirection
•COM1, COM2/SOL
These two submenus allow the user to configure the following Console Redirection settings for a COM Port specified by the user.
Console Redirection
Select Enabled to use a COM Port selected by the user for Console Redirection. The options are Enabled and Disabled. The default setting for COM1 is Disabled, and for COM2 is Enabled.
