Notes on your Safety and Operating Safety

Workingimproperly with the printer can result in health hazards,electric
shocksand even fires. Before you unpack the laser printer,you should make
yourselffamiliar with this information on your safety and operating safety.
CAUTION
Observethe following information:
Makesure that the power cord is correctly plugged into the socket and
thatthe socket is at all times visible and readily accessible.
Donot pull on the cord to pull the power plug out of the socketas this may
damagethe cord. The result could be an electric shock or a fire.
Removethe power plug from the socket if the machine will not be in use
foran extended period of time.
Donot remove the power cord from the socketwi thwet hands as this may
result in an electric shock.
Thesocket-outlet shall be installednear themachine and
shallbe easily accessible as the power plug may be diffi-
cultto pull out when an emergency occurs.
Alwaysuse this product in a well ventilated location.
Operatingthe product in a poorly ventilated room for an
extendedperiod of time could injure your health.Ventilate
theroom at regular intervals.
Whenevermoving this product, be sure to disconnect the
powercord and other cables. Failure to do this could
damagethe cord or cable, resulting in a fire, electrical
shock,or breakdown.
Whenmoving this product, always hold it by thelocations
specifiedin the user manual or other documents. If the
unitfalls it may cause severe personal injury.The product
mayalso be damaged or malfunction.
Removethe power plug from the outlet more than one
timea year and clean the area between the plug termi-
nals.Dust that accumulates between the plug terminals
may cause a fire.
Whenunplugging the power cord, be sure to hold onto
theplug. Pulling on the power cord could damage the
cord,resulting in a fire or electrical shock.
