Indicator Functions

Thecontrol panel has two indicators
andone button. The control panel
indicatorsprovide informationon the
statusof the printer.
1—Readyindicator
2—Errorindicator
3—Cancelbutton
TheCancel button allows you to:
Continuea print job after an
errormessage
Cancela print job

Continuing a Print Job after an Error Message

Youcan continue the print job after correcting thef ollowingtypes of errors:
Whenthe print job is too complex and the memory capacity of the printer
is inadequate
Whenthere is no more paper in the tray
Whenpaper of a different format than that set in the printer driver wasfed
intothe printer
1Checkthat one of the above errors has occurred.
2Performthe remedial action according to the error.
3Pressthe Cancel button to operate the media feed.
Theprint job continues.

Cancelling a Print Job

Youcan cancel a print job that is currently being processed.
1Whiledata is being processed or printed (the green “Ready” indicator is
blinking),hold down the Cancel button for more than 5 seconds.
2Releasethe Cancel button after both indicators light up.
Thecurrent print job has now been cancelled.
