Replacing the Toner Cartridge

Whenit is time to replace the toner cartridge, "TonerLow" displays in the Sta-

tusDisplay. The supplies status indicationin the Status Display is only a ref-

erence.Printing can continue even though the warning appears. However,

printinggradually fades out, so replace the toner cartridge as soon as possi-

ble.

Inthis manual, a toner car-

tridge attached to a drum

cartridgeis referred to as an

imaging cartridge.

1Grabthe front cover grip and

openthe front cover.

2Pullthe handle of the imaging

cartridgetoward you, and then

pullout the imaging cartridge.

Note

Donot expose the imaging

cartridgeto light for a long period

oftime. If the drum cartridge is

exposedto light, decreased

imagequality may result.
