6.2.Safety Guidelines
While troubleshooting your Viking
•Never remove the top cover while your appliance is turned on and while the network cable and the power cords are connected.
•Make sure that you are grounded correctly before opening the appliance. For more information about preventing damage from static electricity, see “Preventing static electricity discharge” on 4.1.
•After you complete any maintenance task where you have to remove the top cover, make sure that you close the case and reconnect all cables before you restart your appliance.
