Network problems

When using a wireless home network connection:

vReboot the router:

1Remove AC power from the router and the television for approximately one minute.

2Reconnect AC power to the router.

3Reconnect AC power to the television and turn it On.

4After approximately two minutes, check connection stability.

vConnect with LAN cables, if possible, and check connection stability.

vRepeat the wireless network setup procedure and check connection stability.

The media server name is not displayed.

The LAN cables, if used, are not connected properly, see “Connecting the TV to a home network with an Internet connection - wired” on page 37.

The WLAN, if used, is not configured properly.

The network setup on the Server is incorrect. Make sure both the media server and TV are using the same network type (DHCP/ manual) and have compatible network settings.

Too many devices are connected. You cannot connect more than 32 sharing devices at one time.

The media server is not turned On.

The “server” is not a media server device.

Check the firewall and streaming settings on the media server.
