Adjusting the picture

Toshiba HDTVs provide a series of preset Picture Modes with color, contrast and other settings specifically tuned for different types of video content. These Picture Modes include Store, Dynamic, Standard, Movie, Game, and PC. Your personal picture quality adjustments will also be saved as preferences in each Picture Mode for complete control of your viewing experience.

Selecting the picture mode

You can select your desired picture settings from the modes described below.

Mode: Description:

Dynamic

Maximizes contrast, color saturation, sharpness, gray scale, and

brightness to create more vivid and dynamic images.

Standard

Standard picture settings.

Movie

Optimizes the backlight, contrast, brightness, color saturation,

sharpness, color temperature, gray scale, noise reduction and motion

compensation to create the perfect picture settings for watching movies

in a dark room.

Game

Game Mode reroutes the video signal to bypass select internal TV

circuitry and shorten signal-to-screen time for reduced controller delay

and faster video gaming action.

PC

Fine tunes the video processing and optimizes sharpness, color

saturation, aspect ratio, color temperature and noise reduction to produce

the best picture settings when displaying video from a PC or a notebook.

Store Mode is only available if the TV is set to Store Mode at initial setup.

This option is hidden in the Home Mode.

When the TV is set to Store in the initial menu or Store in the

Installation Menu, the set will always reset to Store Picture Mode.

PC mode is available for HDMI® only (grayed out for other input

sources).
