Adjusting the long life features

The long life settings (Picture shift, Reverse, White, and (;ray level) are to mitigate the phosphor burn-in of the plasma screen.

Picture shift

The picture moves around the screen intermittently. Select ON to reduce the phosphor burn-in of the plasma screen.

To activate the picture shift:

1.Press MENU, and then press • or • until the SET UP menu appears.

2.Press • or • to highlight PICTURE SHIFT.

3.Press or • to select ON. To deactivate the picture shift:

Select OFF in step 3 above.

Reverse

The picture is displayed alternately between positive image and negative image to reduce the phosphor burn-in of the screen. This function is effective for the pattern image.

To activate the reverse:

1.Press MENU, and then press • or • until the SET UP menu appears.

2.Press • or • to highlight REVERSE.

3.Press • or • to reverse between the positive image and negative image.

After the result of the phosphor burn-in, you may mitigate the image retention if you keep on the Reverse for the same period of time the phosphor burn-in generated.

To return to the normal picture:

Press any button.
