BUILT-INELECTRICOVENS WARRANTY
ONEYEAR FULLWARRANTY
Built-inelectricovensand all of their componentpartsand accessories,except asdetailed below*,are warranted
tobefree fromdefectivematerialsor workmanshipinnormal householdusefor a periodof twelve(12) monthsfrom
thedate oforiginal retailpurchase. Viking RangeCorporation,warrantor,agreesto repairor replace,at its option,
anypart whichfails or isfound to be defectiveduringthe warrantyperiod.
*Glass(includinglight bulbs),painted and decorativeitemsare warranted tobe free from defectivematerialsor
workmanshipfora period of ninety(90) days fromthe date of originalretailpurchase. ANY DEFECTS MUSTBE
REPORTED TO THESELLING DEALER WITHIN NINETY(90) DAYS FROM DATE OF ORIGINAL RETAIL
PURCHASE.
VikingRange Corporationuses themost up-to-dateprocesses and bestmaterials availableto produceall color
finishes. However,slightcolor variationmay be noticedbecause of theinherent differencesinpainted partsand
porcelainpartsas wellas differencesin kitchenlighting,product locations,andother factors.
FIVEYEAR LIMITEDWARRANTY
Anybakeelement,broilelement,or convectioncookelementwhich failsdue to defectivematerialsorworkmanship
in normalhousehold useduring the second throughfifth yearfrom the date of originalretail purchasewill be
repairedorreplaced,free of chargefor the partitself, withthe owner payingall othercosts, includinglabor.
TENYEAR LIMITEDWARRANTY
Anyporcelainovenor porcelaininner doorpanel whichrusts throughdue todefectivematerialsor workmanshipin
normalhouseholduse during thesecond throughthe tenth yearfrom the date of originalretailpurchase willbe
repairedorreplaced,free of chargefor the partitself, withthe owner payingall othercosts, includinglabor.
NINETY(90)DAY RESIDENTIALPLUSWARRANTY This warrantyapplies toapplicationswhere useof the product
extendsbeyondnormalresidentialuse. Examplesare,but notlimited to,bed and breakfasts,firestations, private
clubs,churches,etc. Thiswarranty excludesallcommerciallocationssuch asrestaurants,food servicelocationsand
institiutionalfood servicelocations.
Thiswarrantyextends tothe originalpurchaser ofthe product warrantedhereunderand toeach transfereeowner
ofthe productduring theterm of the warranty.
Thiswarrantyshall applyto products purchasedand locatedin the UnitedStates andCanada. Productsmustbe
purchasedinthe country whereservice isrequested. Warranty laborshall be performedby an authorizedViking
RangeCorporationservice agencyor representative. Warrantyshall not applyto damage resultingfrom abuse,
accident,naturaldisaster,lossof electricalpower to the productfor anyreason, alteration,outdooruse, improper
installation,improperoperation,orrepairor serviceof the productbyanyone otherthan anauthorizedVikingRange
Corporationserviceagencyorrepresentative.This warrantydoes notapply to commercialusage. Warrantoris not
responsibleforconsequentialor incidentaldamagewhether arisingout of breachof warranty,breachof contract,
orotherwise. Some jurisdictionsdo not allowthe exclusionor limitationof incidentalor consequentialdamages,
sothe abovelimitationor exclusionmay not applyto you.
Ownershall be responsiblefor proper installation, providingnormal careand maintenance,providing proofof
purchaseuponrequest, and makingthe appliancereasonablyaccessiblefor service. If the product or oneof its
componentparts containsa defect or malfunctionduring the warrantyperiod, after a reasonablenumber of
attemptsby the warrantorto remedy the defectsor malfunctions, theowner is entitled toeither a refund or
replacementoftheproductorits componentpartor parts. Warrantor’sliabilityonanyclaimof anykind, withrespect
tothegoods or servicescoveredhereunder,shallinno case exceedthe priceof the goodsor serviceor part thereof
whichgivesrise to the claim.
WARRANTYSERVICE:Under theterms of thiswarranty,servicemust be performedby a factoryauthorizedViking
RangeCorporationservice agentor representative. Servicewill be providedduring normal businesshours,and
laborperformedat overtime orpremium ratesshall not be coveredby this warranty. Toobtain warrantyservice,
contactthedealer fromwhom the productwas purchased,anauthorizedViking RangeCorporationserviceagent,
orViking RangeCorporation. Provide modeland serial numberand date of originalpurchase. For the name of
yournearest authorizedViking Range Corporationserviceagency, callthe dealer from whomthe product was
purchasedor VikingRange Corporation. IMPORTANT: Retain proofof original purchaseto establish warranty
period.
Thereturnof the OwnerRegistrationCardis not a conditionof warrantycoverage. Youshould,however,returnthe
OwnerRegistrationCard so that VikingRange Corporationcan contactyou should any questionof safety arise
whichcouldaffect you.
Any impliedwarranties of merchantabilityand fitness applicableto the above describedbake element, broil
element,convectioncook element,porcelain oven,or porcelain innerdoor panel arelimited in durationto the
periodof coverageof theapplicableexpress writtenlimitedwarrantiesset forth above. Some jurisdictionsdonot
allowlimitationsonhow longan impliedwarrantylasts, so theabove limitationmaynot apply toyou. This warranty
givesyouspecific legalrights, andyou may also haveother rightswhich may varyfrom jurisdictiontojurisdiction.

circuitbreakeris open or thefuse is blown.
Ifservice is required, callyour Vikingdealer or authorized service
agency.The name of the authorizedservice agencycan be
