RackPositions

Eachoven is equippedwith threetilt-proofracks. Premiere
modelshave twostandard tilt-proofracks and one TruGlide™
rack.With the TruGlide™rack, the bottomsectionremains in the
ovenand the top sectionsmoothlyglides outwardwhen pulled.
Thisreduces thechances of spillsfrom itemsthat containjuice or
liquid.This rackcan be used inany of the six rackpositions.
Allovens have sixrack positions.Position6 is the farthestfrom the
ovenbottom. Position1 is theclosest to theoven bottom.The
rackscan be easilyremoved andarranged atvarious levels.For
bestresults withconventionalbaking,do not use morethan one
rackat a time. It isalso recommended,when usingtwo racks,to
bakewith the racksin positions2 and 4 or positions3 and 5.
1. Arrangethe ovenracks in thedesired positionsBEFORE
heatingthe oven.If cookingon two racks at thesame time,
userack positions2 and 4 or positions3 and 5.
2. Turnthe OvenFunction selectorto desiredfunction.Cooking
startsimmediatelyand stopswhen the OvenFunction selector
isturned to OFF.
3. Setthe TemperatureControl tothe desiredtemperature.
4. Placefood in theoven after theOven indicatorlight goesout.

ToSet the Meat Probe Function:

A cookingmode must be selectedbeforesettingmeat probe.
Bake, ConvectionBake, ConvectionRoast,TruConvec™,and
ConvectionBroil are thecooking modesthat can be usedwith
themeat probe function.
Set the internaltemperature about10° F lowerthan the
actualdesiredinternal temperature. The meat willcontinue to
cookwhen removedfrom the ovenand will reachdesired
internaltemperature while“standing.”
1.Insert probeinto the meatand slide intooven. Doubleoven
modelshave a meatprobe in the upperoven only.
2.Plug the probeinto the outletlocated onthe left interiorwall of
theoven and closethe oven door.
3.Press the “MEATPROBE”button on the controlpanel.The
displaywill show“SET PROBE”and flashing preset
temperature.
4.The preset temperatureof 160º F or a storedtemperaturewill
be displayed onthe electronictiming center.If you desirethis
temperature,the probemode will beginafter 10 seconds.
5.To set anothertemperature, usethe keypad toenter the
desiredtemperature andpress “SET”or “ENTER.”
Thetemperaturemust be withinthe rangeof 120ºto 190º F.
Displayalternatesbetween cookmode and probe
temperature.
ProbetemperaturedisplaysLO until 100º F isreached, then
displaysactualtemperature.
6.When the probeis within 10ºF of setpoint,two long beepswill
sound.When thesetpoint is reached,threelong beepswill
soundand the ovenwill turn off.The displaywill alternate
betweencook modeand “DONE.”One short beepwill sound
everyminute untilthe probefunction is closed.
7.Press any keyto close the probefunction.
