BLC (Back Light Compensation): This option will automatically add a “weighted region“ in the middle of the window and give the necessary light compensation.

Exposure control:

Exposure level: You can manually set the Exposure level, which ranges from -2.0 to +2.0 (dark to bright).

Exposure mode (Auto): Select Auto to set a proper maximum exposure time (second) according to the light source of the surroundings. You can set iris mode as "indoor" or "outdoor" to reach the best image quality. You may also adjust iris sensitivity from 1 to 10.

Exposure mode (Manual): Select Manual to set a fixed exposure time and gain. Shorter exposure times result in less light. Then, tune the slider bar to set the Exposure time and Gain Control to the best image quality. High gain control value will generate a certain amount of noise. Note that if you select Manual Exposure mode, the Iris adjustment and Iris speed slide bars will appear, while the Iris sensitivity option will not be available.

Iris Adjustment: The camera comes with a P-iris lens, which controls the iris opening with extreme precision by its built-in stepping motor. Via software controls, the lens maintains the iris opening at an optimal level at all times, resulting in superior sharpness and depth of field as well as image quality.

You can manually tune the value of iris opening (aperture size), which can range from 1 to 100
