35 Installing DocuColor 40 CP software

Downloader and Print Calibrator

The installers for the two DocuColor utilities (Downloader and Print Calibrator) are the same. Before you begin the installation, determine the following:

•Where do you want to install the utility on your hard disk?

By default, the installer places the utility in a folder named “Xerox” on the top level of your hard disk.

•What do you want to name the utility folder in the Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder?

By default, the installer names the folder “Xerox.”

TO INSTALL DOWNLOADER AND PRINT CALIBRATOR:

1.On the User Software CD, browse to the English\Instalrs folder.

2.If you are installing Downloader, double-click to open the Download\Disk1 folders. If you are installing Print Calibrator, double-click to open the Calib\Disk1 folders.

3.Double-click the Setup.exe icon.

4.Follow the instructions in the Setup dialog boxes to complete installation.
