Installing DocuColor 40 CP software and fonts

Before you begin each of the following installation procedures, determine where you want to install each item on your hard disk. By default, the files are placed in the following locations:

The ColorSync Profiles are placed in the System Folder:Preferences folder on your hard disk.

If your system uses ColorSync, you must install these profiles in the ColorSync Profiles folder inside the System Folder:Preferences folder. You should install the ColorSync profiles only if your system uses them.

Downloader is placed in a folder named “Xerox” on the top level of your hard disk.

Print Calibrator is placed in a folder named “Xerox” on the top level of your hard disk.

NOTE: An installer is not provided for the Mac OS screen fonts; they must be copied directly from the User Software CD to the System Folder:Fonts folder on your hard disk. For instructions, see “Screen fonts” on page 51.

TO INSTALL MAC OS SOFTWARE:

1.On the User Software CD or your hard disk, double-click to open the Installers folder.
