REMOVAL POINTS

Clutch boss

1. Remove:

● Clutch boss nut 1 ● Lock washer 2

● Clutch boss

NOTE:

Straighten the lock washer tab and use the clutch holding tool 3 to hold the clutch boss.

Primary clutch

1. Remove:

● Primary clutch nut 1

NOTE:

Loosen the nut while holding the magnet rotor with the sheave holder 2.

Sheave holder:

YS-1880-A/90890-01701

INSPECTION

Friction plate

1. Measure:

● Friction plate thickness

Out of specification → Replace friction plate as a set.

Measure at all four points.
