Tilt lever

The tilt lever is located in front of the glove compartment and is used to adjust the tilt of the handlebars.

Shift lever

The shift lever is located on the starboard (right) side of the watercraft and is used to control the reverse gate, which allows the wa- tercraft to move in reverse or forward.

To adjust the tilt, pull the tilt lever up, and then move the handlebars up or down to the desired position.

WARNING

Never touch the tilt lever during opera- tion, otherwise the handlebars may sud- denly change position, which may lead to an accident.

Make sure that the tilt lever returns to its original position and that the handlebars are locked in place after adjusting them,

When the shift lever is in the reverse position, the watercraft can be launched from a trailer, or backed up out of tight spots where you cannot turn around easily.

To shift into reverse:

(1)Release the throttle lever and let the en- gine speed return to idle.

(2)Pull the shift lever toward you until it

stops.

WARNING

Make sure that the throttle lever is com- pletely released and that the engine is at idle before shifting into reverse.

Do not use the reverse function to slow down or stop the watercraft as it could cause you to lose control, be ejected, or impact the handlebars.
