Burner Troubleshooting

SYMPTOM	CAUSE	REMEDY
Loud, high-pitched whine	Flame is too rich.	Verify pressure tap between gas valve
		and blower inlet.
		Turn to Page 19 and verify that the gas
		regulator setting is 0.2”wc below the
		blower inlet pressure.
		Replace gas orifice with smaller size.
Flame is “fluttery.”	Flame is too lean.	Turn to Page 19 and verify that the gas
